Say NO to Clothes In Landfills
It’s a sad reality. More than 15 million tons of used textile waste is generated each year in the United States, with nearly 10.5 million tons making its way to landfills. However, nearly 100% of textile and clothing waste is recyclable.
Working Wardrobes was founded to help deserving clients find jobs, but through the years, we've learned that we also help the environment. By processing more than 500,000 donated clothing items each year, we contribute to the green health of our country. And we love it!
If you think that Working Wardrobes only accepts business clothing donations, think again. We have expanded our operations to accept all types of clothing donations, from business suits to casual clothing – and everything in between.
We rely on clothing donations to dress our clients for success and to supply our resale stores throughout Orange County with clothes they can sell to directly support our client programs. We need donations, our environment doesn’t need waste, and everyone wins – especially our clients.
Whether you’re in a company looking to coordinate a clothing drive or an individual donor cleaning out your closet, please send your donations our way. In addition to professional clothing and casual items in standard sizes, we need small and plus sizes in particular, as well as accessories (such as jewelry and purses), men’s and women’s shoes, and ties and socks.
Thank you, in advance, for helping our clients and our environment.
