Preparing Service Women for a New Mission
We’re honored to have been a part of this year’s very important Military Women Career Symposium at Camp Pendleton to help service women in their transition to the civilian workforce and a new mission in life.
The symposium, held annually and organized by the Transition & Career Services Employment Development Team and Camp Pendleton Marine & Family Programs, focuses on the unique needs of military women in transition and the career development services that position them for job success. Working Wardrobes was on hand (with our generous army of volunteers) to provide wardrobing and personal shopper services to more than 140 women in attendance!
This special event featured informative keynote speakers, women veteran mentors and employees, a networking mixer, and informative panels on business ownership, financial fitness, self-care, and more.
It was a great day for participants to learn about the many opportunities that await them in the civilian sector and how they can continue to make an impact long after their service careers have ended.
The Military Women Career Symposium was made possible with the support of our wonderful event sponsors Morgan Stanley, Pacific Premier Bank, and U.S. Bank. Professional looks were made complete by the very generous folks at SALT.Optics who provided stylish eyewear.
Thank you to everyone who lent their support, including our incredible team of volunteers. You work tirelessly to help our clients achieve The Power of a Paycheck and for that, we are very grateful.
