Job Success Starts Now. Congratulations, Graduates!
We warmly congratulate the men and women who were recently honored for their hard work and successful completion of the valuable training programs provided by the Working Wardrobes Career Institute and VetNet.
On December 12th, these special clients were recognized at the Working Wardrobes Alumni Event – sponsored by our generous corporate partner, The Boeing Company – at Heroes Hall Orange County Fair & Event Center.
Working Wardrobes Board Member and Boeing employee, Mark Angelo, was on hand to extend his well wishes and congratulations to the graduating men and women, who all received special Veterans Service Flag Pins for their accomplishments.
A handmade quilt, made especially for VetNet graduates by Michael Moren of Connecticut, was lovingly presented to one of the graduates. Since 2003, volunteer teams across the country have been hand sewing high quality Quilts of Valor – which they equate to a Purple Heart – and personally awarding quilts to active service members and distinguished veterans throughout the U.S.
The team at Suit Basics, directed by CEO Michael Lew, worked diligently throughout the week leading up to the event to style our clients for job success and generously provided suits for all the graduates. Additional support was provided by our wonderful partners at Pacific Premier Bank and U.S. Bank.
The hands-on volunteer group from BNY Mellon assembled graduate gifts prior to the event, and Bonnie Merrick of Bonnie Merrick Photography lent her talents to capture images from the afternoon’s festivities. Don’t miss the album below.
Thank you to everyone who made the Alumni Event such a success, and congratulations – once again – to our amazing graduates! Here’s to a bright road ahead.
